Taking 4 years and funded by £4 million from the Heritage Lottery Fund and the University of Oxford. Rewley Road, the former Oxford Rewley Road station was dismantled, moved and re-erected to it's currant location in 2001.

The building dating back to 1851 is a stunning backdrop to any wedding.

Buckinghamshire Railway Centre within the beautiful Buckinghamshire countryside is a working museum where you and your guests can step back in time as you stroll amongst the giants of the steam age in our spacious 25 acre grounds. The Centre boasts one of the largest private collections in the country with many locomotives and carriages.


We are licensed for civil wedding and can cater for up to 150 guests to witness your marriage and celebrations. The interior of Rewley Road– the former Oxford Rewley Road Station dating back to 1851 is an impressive backdrop for any vintage wedding. As you can imagine, the photograph opportunities are simply endless. Have the grandeur of arriving to your wedding on steam train and with the rolling hills around you….you and your guests are treated like royalty - the attention to detail and personalised service are the hallmarks of our renowned events planning team. From intimate gatherings with family and close friends in our Oxford room to lavish receptions and marquee weddings in the grounds.
