Hen Do? Stag Night? Give yourself the VIP treatment with our Private Wine Tasting experience!

We can come to you or we can arrange a private room in any of our venues in Winchester or in Southampton. You will feel truly pampered as you experience a really fun wine tasting. Otherwise, let us organise your event in your very own living-room or special venue!

We will sample at least 6 different high-quality wines and compare them side by side. We always include a rapid introductory session on how to taste wine – explained in a no-nonsense practical way - and we can introduce our aroma phial kits, a box of wine-related aromas that are a uniquely inventive test of your sensory skills in a way that provides entertainment and interest.

Planning a party? Fancy injecting a bit of Wine Tasting fun? Then let us organise your party!

We are completely independent and we can therefore source wines to suit your own palate and budget. The tasting usually runs for 2 hours, but can be tailored to suit your requirements. There will a PowerPoint presentation, or we can organise wine-related games for that ultimate competitive fun! Prizes to be won (charged extra, at only £10 for an award-winning bottle of either white or red wine)

Prices for a private event vary depending upon location, numbers and of course the type of wine, but for a party of up to 12 people it will only cost you £320 (that's ONLY £26.66 per person for a private wine tasting for a group of 12!) (click below to book!).

Travel expenses are charged separately, at £0.50 per mile from Eastleigh SO50.

Please contact Cecile Bergart on 02380 644350 or 07969 113382 or email info@hampshirewineschool.com  for further information and a FREE quote.

Here at Hampshire Wine School we are passionate about good local beer!

This tasting makes an interesting and original gift for all the dads out there! Our Gift Vouchers are redeemable against any of our courses - beer or wine tastings.

We are organising this hugely popular Hampshire Beer Tasting by popular demand! We will taste a wide selection of properly made beers - from local microbreweries! Let's celebrate Hampshire and our fabulous local products.

These craft ales and beers are all produced in the old-fashioned way - ie live beers made from quality specialist hops, & specialist malts, not to be confused with the anaemic, tasteless, & pasteurised offerings produced by the large commercial breweries- that pass for beer in a lot of our bars and pubs!

We will presenting at least 6 ales and beers from 3 small award- winning microbreweries from Hampshire (see below), all of which are creating premium quality cask and bottled ales using the finest brewing ingredients and have the mission of producing distinctive flavoursome ales.

Good indicators of real beer are the depth of fruity, yet bitter hop flavours present in your pint, its smoky, malt-spiked finish, as well as a gentle snail’s trail of tiny bubbles on the head and a faint spritz on the tongue.

You will also learn how beer is made and how the different types of malt & hops affect that all-important taste. A truly memorable experience for all ... dads included! ;-)

MEET THE PRODUCER! We are delighted to announce that a local, award-winning brewer will be on hand to answer all your questions on the night!
